The low-tide shoreline of Cox Bay in Tofino, captured from a helicopter just before dusk. I’ve spent countless hours at Cox Bay, a spot often criticized for being too mushy, soft, inconsistent, crowded, and not worth shooting. But to me, it’s so much more than that. It’s where I learned to surf and still surf daily. It’s where I honed my photography and filming skills. It’s where I met most of my lifelong friends. This busy little beach break is where I’ve spent more time than anywhere else in my life.
